This is a short page because we use very few cookies. We don’t run advertising trackers, we don’t share data with third-party analytics, and we don’t profile you across the web. That’s a deliberate choice.
1. The marketing website (www.nyootrition.com)
This site uses strictly-necessary cookies only — the minimal set required for the site to function. We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising trackers, or any third-party analytics. If you visit, no cookie banner pops up because there’s nothing to consent to beyond the basics required for the page to load.
The strictly-necessary cookies are set by our hosting provider, Vercel, and may include:
- Session/load-balancing cookies — used by Vercel’s edge network so the same browser hits the same backend instance for the duration of a visit. These are not used for tracking and expire when the session ends.
- Anti-spam cookies — set transiently by the contact form to defend against automated abuse (e.g. rate-limit identifiers tied to the browser session, not your identity).
None of these are used to build a profile of you, follow you across sites, or share data with advertisers.
2. The app
The mobile app does not use browser cookies (it’s native). It does store small amounts of data locally on your device using the standard secure-storage APIs:
- Authentication tokens (so you don’t have to sign in every time);
- Your local plan cache (so the meal plan loads instantly when you open the app);
- Onboarding/profile data while you complete setup.
This data lives on your device only. It is transmitted to our servers only as needed to authenticate you and sync your plan; see the Privacy Policy for the full data-flow picture.
3. If we add analytics or marketing tools later
If we ever add privacy-respecting analytics, or any optional cookie that requires consent under applicable law, this page will be updated before the cookie is set, and we’ll add a proper consent flow. We don’t intend to add advertising cookies.
4. Controlling cookies
Browsers let you clear or block cookies on a per-site basis. If you block the strictly-necessary cookies described above, parts of the site may not work reliably (notably the contact form’s spam protection). We don’t recommend it but you’re free to.
5. Contact
